Yeah. But having the slanted anti glare side facing the enemy provides additional stealth.

Spoke with Aero today, they have no information when things are slated to be back in stock :bananadead::frusty:

Where do you live to be worried about “enemies” catching a glare? Haha

I don’t see how living anywhere in the states can make that a valid point. Also I don’t know what his occupation is, but I doubt he would be using that firearm in a law enforcement or similiar roll.

My comment about his location was just a smartass comment about Florida, not a fan of it (but Florida man does have some cool stories).

Really that “pistol” would be very effective for LE, I would want it to be an SBR but that’s my preference, where I’m at if the chief signs off on it and you qualify with it you can carry it, they issue M&P rifles but not all officers keep those.

LOL. My post was simply meant to be humorous. I'm neither a ninja, or an operator. I just like the sight better angled backwards. The 10mm pistol will be an SBR in about 7-8 months.

Thanks. Just a generic design that I whipped up. Most handguards are similar enough without too much variation. The next set I'm working on has a more angular look to match the lines of the receiver set- more along the lines of the Magpul MTX or m-lok handstop.
Really all of this is my low budget aesthetic imitation of the Battle Arms PDW, since there's no way in hell I'm paying $300 for a few wood pieces.

Pretty happy with how it turned out, really excited I don’t have to run picatinny to mount the tape switch to.

Anyone using liner comps or flash cans on their SBR's? Looking to direct some blast down range instead of to the sides. Silencer is not in my budget at the moment

I hear people using kak cans have good luck but I also hear they are stupid loud :notsure:

Save your pennies and get a silencer. All the cool kids are doing it.

Also Capital Armory does payment plans on cans fyi.

I want a suppressor on an SBR. Both illegal in IL. Stay out for your own good. I've been considering a pistol build with a bunch of oil filters laying around, but I'm not far enough in the sticks for that kind of shenanigans.

CA question. Can’t use a standard flash hider, any suggestions on a good muzzle break or comp. which is the better route?

I know I am getting on everyone's nerves asking so many newbie questions or just general comments, but what was everyone's main purpose for buying an AR-15? I'm really wanting to buy one even before all this talk about banning them but even more so b/c if it passes I won't have the opportunity of owning one.
