That's exactly what I'm doing but JBA's would push him over the 1600 mark.

This is a great cost effective kit that will take you to lots of places. I love the Dakars and the extended length 5100 rears. No more squeaking and great flex on the trails.

How's the ride quality? I looked at these too and just didn't know what the ride would be like so any insight would be appreciated.

Anyone have any experience with the King coilovers
King OEM Performance Series 2.5" Coilover w/ Reservoir and Optional Compression Adjusters
    Or the Fox level 2
    • FOX 2.5 Factory Coilovers (880-02-361 or 883-02-025) - Preset for 2” lift (for 2016 models 1" lift)

You can’t even get just the fronts for 1600 haha. Just gotta be honest with yourself about what you’ll use the truck for.

Exactly haha. A whole set up or just fronts, you decide.

Yeah I know. It's probably best to just go with the 5100 set up

Honestly for what you are going to be doing, the Eibach kit we offer is on the button..

Great ride quality overall, perfect stance, good durability, and a great warranty on top of it all.
All a nice bolt in application that will not void your factory warranty for your peace of mind.

Shoot me a pm anytime and I can get you squared away with the Tacomaworld discount!

    Thanks

    David

Going with the Eibach kit from Toytec. I'll post feed back after installed and tested.

It rides awesome, I’ve done the toytec boss kit on my FJ Cruiser and 5100s on my 4runner and now the Eibach kit from Toytec and they all ride awesome. I’m definitely satisfied with the setup.

I didn’t do the rear, I just wanted it leveled. In the future I’m looking to replace the rear shocks with something with a longer extended length. I figured I could fit 285/75/16 with just leveling it. If I went 3” I would of went with 35s

Lol!! No! For what he's gonna be doing he doesn't need to do shit. Truck is good to go from the factory. He can even fit 265/75R16 or 255/85r16 tires on stock suspension.
This forum is meant for free advice. Not predominantly advertising your shit.

Edit: I highly recommend everybody read on second gen section because as far as suspension goes everything is 100% the same and there's 13 years of accumulated knowledge. For free.

I don’t think they are advertising anything. I was the one who brought it up and have no connection to Toytec. Yes what you say is true, I was just giving my “free advice”

And the truck has a rake im looking to level it out. I don't think the suspension can't handle the terrian I just know that if I level the truck the cheap way... spindles or spacer it's gonna ruin the ride.
