Finally done! Got the AAL installed. It’s a 1.5 inch single leaf. Personally I think it rides just fine. It’s a little rougher than I’m sure the progressive pack would have been, but not bad at all.

The vibes definitely showed up. I have an appointment with Toyota tomorrow morning to get that straightened out... hopefully. Does anyone know if they do an alignment after replacing the needle bearing? I can’t decide if I should go get the alignment done before or after. Thoughts?

No such luck with Toyotapartsdeal.com either. Order was just voided by them 30mins ago.

Did you follow manufacture torque specs for the nuts and bolts or just winged it?

You should get an alignment anyways...go to firestone $189 lifetime alignment...see if it fixes anything. If it’s your front needle bearing there is a TSB for it and Toyota will fix it, with a “newer” replacement bearing

Definitely follow torque specs. You can rent a torque wrench from auto zone or buy one for less than 50 bucks.

Always follow spec. There’s a thread with every torque spec

I always thought needle bearing vibe came in once you went 2" or higher? Or are you getting a driveline vibration from the AAL?

Will i got mine installed Saturday at a huge mod meet at SOS Concepts. A big shout out to @EddyRRT for hosting us at his new shop. I'm waiting on it to settle before doing my after measurements. All i can say is a lot. A little too nose high do my liking, so now i guess I'll just leave it to Deaver.

Called camelback today and asked about the ones he had put on order for me and several others I am sure. I did not speak to Gunny, it was a lady. Supposedly they had 3 confirmed that Toyota was shipping them, I am #4 on the list.:pout: They were not sure if they would be getting anymore and did not know what the future holds in regard to the kit. Guess I will continue to wait, not in a hurry but would be thrilled to get them.

I suppose it certainly could be a driveline vibration from the AAL. What is the remedy for this?
