Does this seem excessive for a 1.5 inch AAL? Is anyone else having these issues?

Placed order from OEM Parts World on the 16th of February and received from UPS today. Anyone have digital installation instructions? The helicopter mechanic in me wants to make sure I torque everything to specifications. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone else needed to do a carrier bearing drop after installing the 1.5 in AAL?

How much lift does Pro leaf pack give compared to stock oem pack? Do you happen to know what the p/n is for the Pro leaf pack? I may be on the lookout for one as my recall 4+1 springs are not doing great. :(

I had it with 1" of lift. If you go in 4Hi and vibes go away it should be the front diff bearing. Get it replaced under warranty if you can or get ECGS bushing instead. You will need alignment after they install either bearing.

Been following and posting up in the 3rd Gen section. Im waiting to see if anyone can post up side shots of the PRO setup installed on a TRD OR without an AAL. I really want to keep my suspension all Toyota OEM parts and thats why I got the PRO kit. But, I dont want the front higher than the back and I definitely dont want to deal with any needle bearing issues.

Is there a way to tell if the vibes I’m getting is from the carrier bearing or

This makes me feel better. When I put it into 4Hi it goes away so its just be the front diff bearing. Hopefully Toyota fixes it tomorrow and I won't need to mess with shimming the AAL or dropping the carrier bearing. Truck is getting aligned as I write this so hopefully after tomorrow I will be good to go.

There’s several photos in the 3rd gen thread of just what you’re requesting.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you install the Pro kit on any gen Tacoma you WILL be noise high if you don’t add something to the rear leafs. Sorry.

Did you need air compressor tools? Or did a standard ratchet work?

Just Standard ratchets. You'll want a breaker bar if you have any rust on it. And a torque wrench to properly torque everything down. But no need to air tools.

I'm 90% sure I'll be doing this, I'll be sure to post before/after measurements and photos. I did some quick measurements last night and if I net 1.75" in the front I'll be perfectly leveled. I really just want a 1" rake so an AAL even without the overload might be too much

Hand tools are just fine, get a torque wrench and a breaker bar though.

I have 1.75" rake right now, stock, on my 2014. So if I get 1.75" lift from the Pro kit, I should be level. A full 2" would put me slightly nose high.
