Must be my lucky day. Jerry called and said he has a set ade by accident(2gen bolt on, bare, kickout, 10 degrees) ready to go if i want it. Initially ordered flat out but after seeing many pics, there isn't a whole much difference and Jerry said the samething. Gotta be the quickest slider order ever. Thanks @JLee Gonna pick them next weekend.

They arrived today in good shape. There is some minor surface rust on one of them, but considering how much rain we've been getting around here I'm surprised that they made it at all. Probably got wet at some point because they were just strapped to a pallet with no covering - which probably would have caused more rust by holding in moisture anyway. XPO communication was good, but the driver was not very helpful. Basically pulled up at the end of my driveway and asked me how I planned to unload them, then stood and watched as I cut them loose and carried them up the driveway.

Anyway, I'm taking them to my powder-coater next week. He does great work, and I have several parts on the truck that are years old with no issues. He's also done some cast aluminum deck furniture and iron flowerbox frames on the front of our house that still look new after several years. My bumper guard did get hit buy a piece of iron that fell off of a truck on the highway a few years ago, but some glossy Rustoleum worked well as a fix. The license plate cover didn't make it...

I'll send pics in the spring when I get the sliders mounted, but so far they seem pretty good. My only concern is that the BAMF letters welded on the side of the square tube are not flush. Prepping and coating around and beneath the edges may be hard, and could result in a rust prone area. We'll see. If the powder-coat guy is worried, I'll just remove them.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
That is how freight is they can not hand unload anything to prevent them from getting injured. They have a lift gate service but no one wants to pay for it as it's another 155 added to the freight bill so we don't even ask anymore.

Yea gotta love those XPO guys they all have an identity crises some of the units have XPO on the cab and Conway on the trailer. Now here is my question did he even have a liftgate? Wont tell you what Freight company I work for but if it were me I would have helped so that I could get on my way.
Buddy of mine works for XPO.
