Naw. You gotta make sure it’s torqued correctly. Wheel bearing preload is important.

then how come they used newspaper to insulate walls back in the day instead of wool? could have just shaved the sheep and thrown in in between the sticks

If you've been wrenching as long as I have you get a feel and with these sealed pressed in bearings it is not nearly as critical as on the old bearings you had to pack and would go into a rotor then onto a spindle.

Because back in the day no one knew better plus any carbon based insulation deteriorates over time much quicker than a synthetic. Also the paper was just people trying to do something to have less air leaks.

A cot changed my camping life! Don't know why I waited so long to get one!
i was about to ask, but then everyone screemed you gonna be cold, and then everyone apologized because you said it...

With a cot and a sleeping pad, and that heater, you'll sleep like a baby! Hope you brought a little pow pow in case a big bear comes by or a raccon family lol!

Of course I did! This is Murcia! I also have some bear mace, and am going to be good about keeping all food and trash away from me.

People keep telling me to get a cot. I already feel I am cheating half the time I take the scouts camping because I sleep in the bed of my truck.

My old house the original part was built circa 1870s give or take. Then an addition was around the 1940s then the attic converted around the 80s. I found all kinds of crazy shit in that house. The original structure was milled lumber all rough sawn hardwoods from the property. It was originally on a dry stacked stone foundation and at some point in time it was jacked up and a brick foundation was put under it.

Just ask @04yota how he knows this.

We spent half the night looking for his brand new ST-Maxx in a dark, busy highway.

I came across a 1st gen just down the road who lost his wheel, only found 4 of the lugs and some of his studs were bent to shit lol had to hammer them straight enough just to get the rim on hahaha he didn't have the arm for his jack and was trying to use a stick  lucky for him I had taken the day off work, so I went home and grabbed all the proper tools, when I showed him the torque wrench, he asked what it was hahaha I explained that I don't trust the impact yada yada and all he said was, oh, that's probably where I went wrong, I will have to get one of those haha

I've done more than most. I take a course in outdoors medicine/rescue, CERT training, survival, etc. As a scout leader we gotta stay on top of our game to keep the boys safe.

I don't really own a tent that is large enough for a cot. I have smaller tents because I am by myself and don't want to try and heat that large of a volume of air in my cold weather tent. Nor do I feel the need to have a big tent in the summer since it's just me.

That thing won't ever put 1200 ftlbs out. Forward is always way less than reverse. All the manufacturers put those specs on there but in real world practice they can never achieve what the manufacturer says they can do. They create that 1200ftlbs in a very specific manner and it isn't replicable in the real world only in a lab and in their test parameters. None of my air impacts put out what they advertise it's a cold hard truth of manufacturing and there isn't a standard for the testing either.

that being said those dewalt impacts are some of the best. I like them better than the Milwaukee and Snap-On

They only advertise 700 ft lbs. the 1200 is the break away power.

I was exaggerating for effect :)

But yes, breakaway torque is 1200 ft-lbs

Even still what I said! I know what is meant by the 1200 even the 700 is unobtainium. I would say get a giant bolt and torque it to 1200 then try and break it loose it won't do it. Tighten something up as tight as it will tighten it then take a torque wrench in reverse and see how many ftlbs it take to break the bolt loose.
