I think any truck with that sweep, GM did it too, look silly.
Do you want a truck or a truck that thinks its a sports car?
Why not put a spoiler on it too?

I can tell you from experience that the Avalanche will never give you that sports car feel.

The needle bearing really is only an issue after the lift because the lift changes the angle of the CV axle into the case. So unless your needle bearing is shot on it’s own, I wouldn’t think that the ECGS bearing would solve any vibes until after you lift it.

But I say get the ECGS bearing now and just install it when you do the lift because it’s a pain in the ass if you get everything in and aligned then a few days later notice the vibes and need the bearing. $60 saves some pain. There’s a thread here for borrowing the tool as well so you don’t have to buy the tool you’ll only use once.

This exactly. If it goes away when you switch to 4hi then it’s the needle bearing

Hmmm, we need to have an ECGS bearing install party. Mine's been on & off growling since I lifted it.

A lot of us did, it was called a trade in party, haha. Haven’t you noticed the uptick in non-Toyota chatter ‘round here?

He's looking to sell it quick to buy a Mazda from some guys in the shop for $4k. He needs more seating for a new kid. Offer him $4k and I know he will take it. Then you can flip your Lexus for more and split the profits with me!

We have the tools at the shop, have done about 10-15 trucks now, including a 3rd gen.

We charge flat rate of $50 a truck to do it. So if people want to get together and we doa group then i can talk to Levi about a discounted rate

If I had 4K on hand I would. Then take a weekend to get rid of all that hideous green. Eventually I’d rhino line the whole truck.

Personal loan would cover it but the interest rate might suck
