    Hey guys, I am getting so excited about getting my new truck sometime this summer when I find the perfect one and the first thing I want to do is the MagLite mod. But I am not comfortable drilling holes in the seats of my new truck! Is there any other way to do this mod??

    you could try velcro but I don't know how well that will hold up

    I will be getting a 2010 Double cab long bed! And I want to put it right on the seat so as soon as I open my door I can grab it!!!

    Na holes is not an option...I am just not comfortable with that!

    Get a Surefire.

    Those are worth drilling holes in your truck for... :)

    There is two little clips screwed into the lid--Gott'em off ebay for $4. They make them for the larger maglites too. :D

    Tint, tinted tails + 3rd brake light, shaved tailgate, painted calipers. TSB Leafs+ AAL, PA/CB, 5100 Bilsteins set @ 2.5 up front. Satoshi line-x'd grill.
    i know its not by the drivers side, but in my '09 i have a maglight holder (came stock) behind the single seat in the back.

    LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
    x2 Buy a Surefire or Streamlight flashlight and you will be willing to drill those holes!

    i like my stream light! also on my double cab i have a flash light holder behind the divers side rear seat. not a fast place to get it but it works. sounds like a custom mod is in order. you could make a bracket that bolts under one of the seat bolts then comes out and hugs tight to the seat, with that you could drill the bracket and put the mounts on that. with a system like that there is not damage to you truck. if i had time i could fab one up to show you.
