Do you have sliders or skids? Also I'm prety good at supervising work while drinking beer. I might even hand a tool or two over if I'm feeling really helpful!I carry a good supply of hand tools in my truck at all times.

 

No I do not have sliders/skids...

I just try to drive smart, I do need to get sliders though!

 

Thats ok, we can work with it. We'll just need to watch lines and control speed. I beat the crap outta my stock skids before replacing with better. We'll just watch/encourage @trekker do the crazy shit.

 

Sounds good to me! I'm fine with slow and steady! And watching others do the damaging shit.

 

Sounds like a good plan! Learn what it can do now and slowly build it up and protect it. I do highly recommend sliders as a purchase. Rocker panels are expensive to fix.

 

If y'all help me get the add a leaf on before we go that'll get those rocker panels further away from danger..

 

Shouldnt be a problem @trekker likes working on other peoples vehicles. I'll do what I can to help as long as the pup isnt being a PIA. I'll see if I have any other tools I can bring to help that i don't usually carry.

 

Sara's gonna flip if you bring a dog. That'd be awesome to get some help, I've got old man knees so once I'm on the ground it's easier to stay down there till I'm done so a second set of hands helps a lot, I even keep my creeper in the truck with all my tools so I can roll around under the truck.

 

I've got some back issues so I can relate on the old man part. My 10 month old Husky mix is my copilot and always travels with me!

 

I only like working on other people's vehicles when they're Toyotas!

We'll bring our lab Lux out with us that weekend. Gonna take her camping this weekend as a trial run and do a bit of fishing.

 

I'll make sure to bring extra treats! Not that there isnt always a container of treats in the truck. I found 2 brand new bones in it today that i dont remember ever putting in the truck. I may spoil my dog a bit.

 

Got my shipping confirmation on my rack! Now I just need to give some powdercoaters a call as I'm not sure I'm going to have time to rattle can this thing before my next big trip.

I think I would PC a rack anyway. Its not like armor thats going to get scratched up. I've heard good things about up in little elm.
