You may find that your grouping improves after a couple hundred rounds. My M&P (a 1.0) had fairly loose groups for the first few boxes, but I hit 500-ish and they tightened up. I'm over 1500 or so now and it holds nice hand-sized groups at 20.

    going to be fun!
The large aggressive checkering on the operators was a little over the top I ended with the stipple and the Frag's which was way more comfortable to shoot without losing skin after 500 rounds.....

I'm upset I still have not got to shoot it yet. Virginia is full of ranges that require memberships. However, I just found out Fort Eustis has a privately owned firearms range so I'm figuring out how to use it.

I usually go to local properties I have access to, but sometimes I run out to West Broad Colonial shooting. I just dislike ranges but if it's raining hard then that's my go to.

That's nice to hear! But I'm fairly sure I'm part of the problem. LOL I haven't gotten to shoot much for several years. Now that we have an indoor range I'm planning to try to shoot weekly.
