$50 Mods?

I've had a $50 Amazon giftcard laying around for a while and decided that I'm going to spend it on my truck, while I wait to get it lifted and new rims/tires.

Any solid mods under $50? I already have a Pop and lock, nice AC knob and a couple other small things in the same range. I'm just wondering if anybody has any ideas as to what I can do.

maybe led interior dome lights, etc? they are amazing. also, stubby antenna or a funny decal is a good, solid choice to me

 

I already did interior LED lights and had licence plate lights as well. Which unfortunately just went out after 6 months because I drive at night way more than I do during the day.

I got a couple of the screw type hose clamps for about $5 for the pair at an auto parts store. Came with a specific “key” not a screwdriver or socket type fastener. May not be as rugged as this one, but will probably go almost as far for protection.

 

That doesn't sound right, my lights are on whenever my truck is on and I haven't burned out a bulb in 3-4 years, I drive 500-700 miles/week.

 

I've been seriously considering one of those, but I kinda want to do it once I take my roof rack off and lift it.

They were cheap-o LED lights from Amazon. I contacted their warranty people and they never got back to me, so I just switched back to the stock ones till I can sort something else out.

 

do it! they look slick, and are really rare on tacomas I have come to find.

 

I've got a ton of tools and a couple tow straps. I don't overland or do very serious offroading, mainly just dirt roads to be honest.

 

I've got to check the codes, but once I do that I might do it.

Do you have a decent set of jumper cables, or recovery straps/ tow straps. If you dont have those , then skip the mods till you have the above.

 

Buy a good head lamp. You can’t see at night without a light.
