Powder won't hold up to rocks, even ones thrown by your tires.

I used Rustoleum Bed Liner, in a spray can. A few chips (more from doors and foot traffic than rocks.) Once a year or so, I will just scrub them really well, and repaint them.

No such thing as "no maintenance."

 

Does it peel off when you drag them on rocks or just scratch like paint? I have been thinking about doing this on the top for my kids to have more grip. Guess i could just do the whole thing.

 

Its killing me seeing surface rust. Im from the north and rust is no bueno for me.

Scratches like paint.

It's not perfect, but fairly easy to "fix".

 

Doesn't cut near enough of it off .

 

I planted some Yukon golds this weekend too! I should have a mess around june hopefully. I may have a jalapeno or 2 sprouting too

 

The only thing I can think is that they were painted when it was close to freezing. The paint may be a little more brittle than normal.

 

I may give it a go.

 

Naw your paint job is on point sir. I think its just my back roads that are doing it. I was just hoping for a coating of some sort that would help lol. I gunna try a light coat of rustoleum bed liner and see what happens
