That's one sharp truck! Is your SOS bumper the steel or aluminum?

That's the needle bearing. You need the ECGS mod. You just described that issue to a T.

If the vibe comes from the passenger side and doesn't go away in 4WD it is most likely NOT the needle bearing.

My measurements after settling for 5 months.

    Double cab Off Road
OME 888 on 90021 with trim packer on driver's side
    Standard duty Dakars (new style)
Pelfreybilt bolt on sliders with plates, 1/2 tank of gas, no excessive weight in it and I haven't flogged it off road (yet).

Settled height hub center to fender bottom
    DF 22 1/2"
    PF 22 5/8"
    DR 23 1/2"
    PR 23 1/2"

I love the way the truck rides but I'm not impressed with the lack of height I got from 888's. I have a Warn semi hidden bumper on order that I'd like to put a winch in as well as hoping to do skids someday. Those reasons have me looking at a set of 3/8 or 1/2 top plate spacers to boost me up another 3/4". I'm sure I'll lose a chunk of that with the new weight. I did test load 150lbs on my front bumper today and bounced it around a bit, came down 1/4" on both sides.

Started a reference thread here if anyone felt like sharing their settled numbers of any brand of kit: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/lift-kit-settled-height-reference.536929/

It's steel with powdercoat. Love this bumper......have used it one time to winch my truck off a saturated hillside the whole truck was sliding sideways down and it was flawless. I've also used it to hoist several deer!

Drive it in 4hi, if it stops, it's the needle bearing

I think I'm just going to go ahead and do the bearing at this point and see what happens, it can't hurt it to have it done at this point

I would try it in 4hi first, it could be a few different things.

I've tried it in 4 hi, and I don't feel safe bring my truck up to 40-50 where I feel the vibe on try pavement to see if it goes away...unless it would be safe to run it for a short distance in 4 hi to get to 40-50 to see if it goes away

Will the Dakars put the rear higher than the AAL?

I thought the 888 are taller then the 887? Wouldn't the lift be more in the 888?

Why weren't you happy with 887?

Any 2nd Gen's out there with the 888's? I don't plan on a winch or bumper so not sure if the 888 are overkill vs the 887's.
