    Good Day :hattip:

Heard first sign of spring,,,Sandhill Cranes, ,,my new alarm clock
Should be another nice day with temps in 50’s,, snow tonight
I did all the drywall work in our dinning room, I did a good job of hiding my mistakes.
With our living room I hung the drywall. Had a guy come to tape and mud. 3 nights, 1 1/2 hour each night and $75.00. Best $75.00 I ever spent

The person that did mine did drywall for a living, but did my room on the side. He has since retired. I was told he still does it on the side. May need him for bathroom.

Good morning. Status lights are all blue or green at work this morning. Maybe I can get some real work done today instead of reactive work. Nah, it will not last long.

Sorry Dan, you and your family are in my thoughts.

No second guessing allowed, your respecting her wishes. Went through that with my father. Now a decade later it was the right thing to do. I know it is hard to not second guess but it is their wish that needs to be honored IMO. You are doing the right thing.

Sorry to hear that to Rick. After my mother had her stroke she spent a few years in a nursing home, then assisted living as she improved and we moved near my youngest sister. Then a year ago moved her into an apartment with one of my nieces. Not going so well now and she is going downhill as time goes by. She needs to go back to at least assisted living. My 3 sisters and I talked about it this last weekend and I don't envy my youngest sister telling her. Talked to mom on Sunday and still feel guilty for not saying anything. I'm certainly not going to say anything like that over the phone though, she deserves better than that. Your in my thoughts too.

We are turning the corner got up to 35 yesterday and supposed to hit 40 today. Put down almost 50 pounds of salt this morning on the drive. Have an electrician coming today to replace the flood light bulb and don't want any ice for him to slip on. It is at the peak of the eaves and my ladder just makes it fully extended. But is no joy wobbling that far off the ground. Your right a man needs to know his limitations and I have climbed up there one too many times and with luck made it back down, done with that I gladly will write a check at this point.

Weather guesser said we are at 44" of snow and normally have 4" more than that by the end of February. And there is a chance we still may make it. Hell no I can live without it. You are a true short timer now counting the wake up  Days are noticeable longer here at both ends and the sun is actually getting a little bit stronger. We have turned a corner.
