Me too, would be nice if someone produced a beefed up rack for second gens. I guess I will start looking for a used OEM rack as well. I wonder what all those dessert racing LT guys are doing? They must be pissing through racks every five minutes...

Fetal position. I’m good at that. I assume it every time Karen gets mad at me

looking for input here from some people who have experience with this. i stumbled upon this thread consisting of member relocating his pwr steering reservoir to accommodate for a aux battery. i have the same truck as him. with the pain in the ass abs system on the passenger side/no atac.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...locate-for-dual-battery.430056/#post-12472540

so i'm wondering if this is doable. i already have 2 Odyssey PC1400 batteries, and an IBS dual battery system. just trying to look at it from all directions. reached out to the OP, but i think he's long gone.

Careful with that. Fetal position exposes your most vulnerable parts.

You should be able to squeeze them in at stock location by rotating them 90 degrees. I will see if I can find a pic

Don't let Steve scare you, the OK4wd guys do know their stuff, but they are pricey, and do not do custom fabrication, so bolt on is their specialty.

i won't argue with the pricey part. i've used them a handful of times. and i haven't asked them for any kind of custom fab, so i can't really say yay or nay.
