17 wasn't good to me either. except I bought a GMG DB. Loving it, bit of a learning curve but ya, anything new will require it. If you didn't get the wifi model, pm me and I will tell you something. ;)

    1. so spill it if it’s no secret.
    2. That’s what the insurance money is for so it’s no big deal.

If you need a jump start you might consider Whole30. It’s just a month commitment, you can eat as much as you want of the food that’s allowed and it breaks you of sugar cravings. I have done it for 2 months now and it’s been very effective in getting me to eat healthier. You can eat as much smoked meat as you want as long as you don’t put sugar in your rub or sauce.

IIRC, the non-wifi models have the components for wifi, i.e. the board, and just need an antenna. Used to anyway. I'll have to dig around to verify.

Meh. I got too much better stuff to do than dick around with the smoker. Like go for a walk in the back yard. Insurance paid for it anyway...

Only two things in life creep me out, one is snakes and the other is heights. So a snake on a cliff would probably kill me.

Cool. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you need to break bad eating habits (sugar/fast food cravings) and refocus on veggies and good lean meat, it’s great for that. I’m down about 11% in body weight after being on it for 2 months.

Sounds really good. Will be glad when we have some extended good weather here so I can get full swing back into smoking/grilling. Next winter we should be moved back to FL so cold and snow won't be an issue.

I'm okay with heights but snakes, worms and mayo are NFG.
