Im running Image Dynamics 6.5 components in the front, Image Dynamics 6.5 coax in the rear, Kicker CompR 10 sub, Taco Tunes box and adapters. Pioneer 5 channel amp, AudioControl LC7i active LOC, stock head unit.

May take out the 6.5 coax in the rears for some Kicker 6.75 woofers.

I'll probably swap out the speakers and forego adding a sub but idk if that's good enough or not

What did you do for sound deadening?

if you seal the doors on top of the sound deadening, itll sound plenty fine with some quality door speakers. Go with components in the front and 6.5 inch woofers in the rear. dont need any mids and highs from the rear, just mid bass.

Oh, and i have 8 inch marine pods in the bed of the truck, for party time.

I'm no audiophile, but I was pretty satisfied with adding a 10" Kicker powered sub to the stock system. I just wish I could get rid of all the panel rattles.

Same, I just have other parts to buy before I finally upgrade the audio system. I just want to do all new door speakers with a good amp to power them that integrates with the stock system.

Jeez, I think I need to actually sit in your truck and hear this.

RAAM stuff works really good, I used a good amount and did a double layer on the headliner, all four doors, the back wall, and anywhere else that I could get what I had.

Sealing the doors helped a ton with my stock speakers.

Putting this on the doors to help get rid of the vibrations and to help the speakers perform better.

So I can use an amp with the stock system and upgraded door speakers to make it sound better/lounder? Amps aren't just for subs?

Like I said... I don't know shit about this stuff. Sorry for being a tard lol

Yea, you can use an amp with door speakers, that is what I am going to do down the road.

yeah me too a bit... I put sound deadening inside the door shell and on the door itself to cover any holes to the inner shell, so maybe that's it.

I'll be at mega run but I do remember seeing an rc course last year.
Hybrid audio 6x9s and tweeters up front, sundown sd3 10s in the back
If you don't have a sub now, and not need a lot of bass you can get by with just door speakers.
