All I do is work. So who knows, I work and don’t buy anything. Seems pointless. :(

I finish working 7-5 then go do garage door work on afternoons and weekends. Sometimes commercial mostly residential. I just can’t say no to working :angrygirl:

Hey guys I know this has been asked a million times but I have a 3in body lift that was on my truck whenever I bought it, what kind of shocks and struts will I be able to buy ? I'm in need of a upgrade.

Ditch the body lift and buy some Blisteins and an add-a-leaf. They will give you the lift you need.

Hey Garrett! What kind of upgrade are you wanting? Having the body lift wouldn't make you need something different than the guys without body lifts. Your suspension is still stock and hasn't been altered if that's what you're asking.

I'm running Bilstein 5100's up front and a progressive AAL in the rear.

Like Tyler said, ditch the body lift when you get the chance.

What I am saying is that your expenses for the place will start exceeding what you can rent it out for. One big assessment by the condo owners association (usually a bunch of scalawags that are making money off kickbacks and other nefarious activities) and you are in the red for quite a while.

Thanks man, so if I get the bilsteins up front the 5100 I can take my body lift off ? How do I know if anything is done to the rear of the truck ? This is all a learning process but my father in law is a excellent mechanic so he's taught me ball joints, spark plugs, etc. So I'm new to suspension I reckon haha

Is it a body lift or a leveling kit and leaf blocks? Actual body lifts not done through the suspension are harder to install/remove

You should have 2 rubber spacers in the front and 2 the rear that separate the frame from the body. Look above the rear wheel where you see the gap. There should be something that looks like a really tall hockey puck. That's the body lift.

Look at the links I sent you. The front shocks are adjustable for height and should be all you need for the front. In the rear you will need the add-a-leaf to get the extra lift. Since your truck is already lifted you might not need new shocks for the rear. The link I sent you is a pretty expensive company. Look around the net a little. You wan Bilstein 5100 front shocks and 1.5" add-a-leaf rear springs.

One more thing. You will have to compress the front spring to install them on the new shocks. THIS IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS! This is dangerous and can kill you if done incorrectly or with the wrong tools. This might be something you pay a shop to do for you.

Judging from the daylight in his wheel well on the avatar I'm gonna say body lift.

Guys this is what I'm working with, you'll see on the driver and passenger side why I figured I needed something done. Also after looking at these pictures what do you guys think would be the best option ? I don't have 2k to drop on a new setup but I have a little bit to work with
