    The entire housing is aluminum, the rotors, gears, main shaft, etc are all steel.

    I got my tacoma...2011....in Aug/Sep 2010. Brand new, for like 29,7...even with S/C, that seems high

    yea, that other one def seems high. I bet the dealer is banking on the S/C up'ing the price to an unsuspecting buyer.

    called gadget today to see about running the UCON without the S/C and the only thing he added, was to also do the injectors with the cam and thermostat w/ ucon and there will be no issues. Run that for a couple days then install the S/C. Not that this has to all be done in 3 different stages, but he agreed that any trouble shooting would be substantially reduced doing it this way and agreed with the idea.

    Hey all! I’m sure it’s an asked like 1000 times but I’m due for plugs and wondering which ones I should go with. Also, how much of a PITA is it to do the plugs on a supercharged motor? It seems like three of them could be real hard to get to

    Stock plugs that come with the kit are denso ikh22 but most people go to the ikh24 because it’s a colder plug.

    If you have swivel attachments I’m told you can change the plugs with out taking the supercharger off.

    Yes this is true I did it about a month ago. One or two of them was PIA but not too hard since its on top. It's a blind reach in there and I think I actually used an jointed and ball together to get in there with a long extension.

    Sounds like a decent price to me especially with camper shell and 4wd. I paid 27k for mine with 70k on it and it wasn't from TX so it had a bit of rust.

    Check the exhaust diameter extra bonus if the performance exhaust is installed. It has a bigger outlet and was sometimes also added when people splurged on dealer option.

    Those em effers are pricy! Should I pick them up from a Toyota dealer or can I just buy them online somewhere? Also, do you know if they come gapped to the right amount or will I have to adjust them?

    They should come close, but always check the gap before installing plugs. Who knows if someone dropped them or not.

    Most modern plugs (at least the Iridiums I've used) are pre-gapped precisely. Be careful if you decide to adjust the gap.
