I thought it was just on the EcoBoosts too, but only Lariat and up. I could be wrong.

It would definitely be something I'll want to disable if I end up with it. I want as little noise as possible!

We use mostly Vibrant mufflers/resonators on our custom exhaust systems.

I thought it was on all of them; mine makes some grunty noises when I step on it, but I don't hear them with the windows down so I assumed it was faked. Maybe it's just how the exhaust actually sounds in the cab. :notsure:

They look nice but just aesthetic as far as I know. I don't think there's anything functional about it.
Haha, that didn't end well for Mr. Clarkson and whatever city they were looking to help!
I don't think you can disable it. It's a stupid 'feature' in my opinion. I think you only really hear it if you stomp on the gas, otherwise it'll be quiet.

All exhaust mufflers are asthetic only unless you’re pumping tons of boost in with a turbo or supercharger... they do have great sound however

I think you can have the dealer do it or do it in ForScan.

Oh, I thought you were talking about the whole Black Widow build, I didn't realize you were talking about a muffler.
I'm not sure you can. I've been reading some stuff about Forscan, unless they've figured it out recently, I haven't found a definitive answer as to how to disable it permanently. Forscan is pretty awesome though, you can mess with just about every feature controlled by the truck's ECU and customize it. Pretty neat if you know what you're doing with it, probably scary if you don't and mess up.

Just swapped out the insoles in my boots because after 3 years the originals were pretty much gone. The new ones feel SO weird on my feet...

Now I've got to find a coworker's desk drawer to put the old ones in

One of my coworkers is on vacation all week; maybe I'll put them in his desk and let them ripen for a few days.

Doesn't Ford output a fake exhaust note over the radio?

Not sure. I read a lot of people saying the dealer turned it off for them, and a lot of others saying it's not on the non-Lariats or 2.7s anyway. I won't worry about it unless mine has it and I notice it. If I do, I'll look into it because quieter is better.
