I’ve been feeding my jury duty notice through the shredder the last 15 years. I keep waiting for a sheriff to show up at my door :anonymous:

They say a judge can issue a warrant. But considering the number of jurors that show up, I find it unlikely they'd go through the trouble.

Almost got this rear bumper done. This was my Saturday project that effed up my Sunday play date at Bowman. Not a totally unfun weekend I guess.

For this weld, I tried a soy non-stick cooking spray to help with spatter clean up. I didn't use it on the part to be welded. Worked pretty well.

I may have tweaked a few things...
Last year was the first time I ever had to go in. I remembered the summons two days after I was supposed to start calling in but thankfully I hadn’t been picked...yet. Had to take two days off to go in, even made it into ‘the box’ where the jurors sit. I was dismissed by the prosecutor though so it was all good.

In the past I was always able to write in and claim hardship being that I was the only person able to cover my position at work.

I guess I’m the only one who goes in each time? I’ve been on a few jury’s. I usually get picked and hang out in the box until towards the end.

Worst one was when I was an alternate. Had to sit and listen through 3 days of a DUI case and nobody called in sick so they dismissed me when it was time for deliberation.

If I make it to the box, I'll probably get dismissed.

That much waiting sucks. The 1st day I was there or about 3 hours. Got selected. Each day after that went by pretty quick. The trial was 3 days so I did 4 days total. We "deliberated" for 5 minutes.

I got stuck in the selection process for some big trial they went through 78 people before they selected there jury. I was number 80 never got selected but had to sit through the whole process. the up side is they let us go early every day.

I sort of feel like they need professional jurors sometimes. Like select a jury and empanel them for several trials then release them. Same pool, longer service; fewer times.

Like a once in a life time kinda thing.

The only thing is that you'd be so jaded after all that.

More shit then I ever planned on doing
    I
i have a CPAP also and hate it. Havent used it in about a year. I’ve gone in twice to get fitted for a full face mask, cuz I’m a mouth breather also but they keep pushing the fucken nose masks on me. I finally got pist and quit using it. I guess I should probably make another appointment to get it sorted out.

When they did the sleep study on me I bet I didn’t sleep fo more then 10 straight minutes. Kinda awkward trying to relax when you’ve got wires and shit attached all over your body. Felt like a fricken lab rat.
