A small laundry basket with pool noodle floats around the rim is a cheap way to go, it works well for larger bait fish like bunker. I've also used those small bait buckets and tie it off to the kayak, certainly slows down a drift!

I use a humminbird Piranhamax 170, black and white and in a portable case but its easy/cheap off ebay.

Cabin fever hit hard today.. been in the 70's the past few days, I'm itching to get on the water! Keep seeing facebook posts with people getting absolute slabs of crappie right now. Hope I can go Saturday morning..

Found some rod wraps on ebay for dirt cheap (coming from China though :(). I gotta find time to get to BPS soon too. :goingcrazy:

    Not Enough.
There's a link to some of those down below in the product suggestion box. I was thinking about ordering a few because for a few bucks, why not? And I can literally almost see BPS from where I work... I'm convinced I've developed super hero levels of willpower because of that. :annoyed:

Yeah.. I posted that link a week or two ago :anonymous:
That's actually who I ordered through. BPS and Academy wants $6-8 for 1. Only downside is they're coming from Chine. But, I can wait a few extra days for them to come in for that price.

Side Bro and mesh pocket installed. Still have anchor trolly, pad eye for drive leash, and hatches to do. Need to run to hardware store for stainless screws for new hatch.

Or you can just get an extended ball hitch so it pushes further away from the truck.

The combo on the back of my truck right now is probably around 18" or so.

I’ve got an 18” hitch box extension but I’m definitely going for a longer tongue.

Thanks for the link! I’ll price one out from there compared to me just getting the raw parts and welding them myself.

Nothing like cutting the floor out of a brand new Hobie. :sawzall:

Still have to cut out the bow for the round hatch I just removed for the rectangular one. Also still have the anchor trolly to do...didn’t want to run out of daylight in the middle of something.

Im just being cheap....saving up for 35s and gears trying not to break the bank on fishing like I did this time last year. I restored my tracker boat I bought back when I was 19.

I bought the longest biggest drawbar I could find 9 inches I think. I had to notch it out to fit my bumper. I could tow my utility trailer like that but had to remove the jack. My trolling motor sticks out like a foot in front of the boat and I have dual jerry can holders so things are a little tight with the boat trailer. Now Im thinking extending the tongue on the trailer is a better way to go. TW taking my money once again :spending::rofl::rofl:
