Honestly I would say flame thrower. Atom Bomb? GIANT Steam Roller? Laser Beams from satellites in Outer Space? One of those is bound to work.

I was hoping for a new pair of boots... it did go to the neighbor for a meal.

Meh. First time we crossed paths, it was in a beat up old shed (which I tore down-just before the fire... if I had only waited...) it left in a hurry so it got a pass that day
I was headed for the door and a cat alerted me to it. This was too close so it had to be moved on.

Snake shot in a .22 does a sufficient job and doesn’t make a mess.

I had the buttons, 8 of them, but those too succumbed to the flames...

    North Idaho?

Just kidding, hell I'm in Mn.

Your more likely to die of a spider bite than a snake bite in the US. Only something like 1 in 500 people that get bit by a rattlesnake die. But usually because they make it into the ER for an antivenom shot in time. Dogs around rattlers worry me the most. Personally not fond of ticks, on the northern most border for them but the little bastages are working their way North. Hate them.

Sunday did another ribeye cap steak, wrapped it in bacon this time after cutting the string off.

    sear.jpg

Found a large thick ribeye in the freezer this morning where it looks like the vacuum seal didn't hold. First one I've had in a year that leaked. Pulled it out to thaw, looks like going to have to do a mercy grilling tonight.

So tonight me and my buddy made some harrow wok chicken strips powered by the lodge hibachi. For the smoking meat content I have 12lbs of bacon on it 20th through 30th hours of smoke in the background

This rig was built specifically for Holly. It was her 1st birthday present from me. We celebrate her b-day every year with a small party of 20 to 30 humans and lots of BBQ and other goodies.

Here she is rockin her doggles

Yes it is, that is the 18" Jumbo Joe $60 special. Probably gets more use than any of my others. 4" from charcoal grate to grill so no need to mess around lifting coals up. For a steak or 2 works perfectly and uses a lot less charcoal than the 22". I did double the charcoal grates up and put stainless eyebolts through them to help dump unburned coals in the chimney for reuse.

I do have the grill grate set for it, cost more than the grill itself. With both boys back with me I use the 22" kettle for wings but when it is just for me sometimes will use the grill grates. Often set the JJ inside of the 22" kettle to cook for extra hot ash protection.

    almost done.jpg

Should get the hinged stainless cooking grate for it. And a 26" kettle. Someday.

I thought it was you or maybe @WBF610 that got upgraded grates that were better than stock.

I did on my 22" kettle, went with stainless hinged grate ~$70 but should be last one I ever need for it. LOL I was just looking at 304 stainless grates for the JJ.

I got a new grate for my WSM 18.5", that is it. I don't have a weber grill, use the gasser if needed.

Did you get SS or CI? I can't seem to find a SS grate for my 18.5 WSM.
