Nothing painful about it unless you want to shoot with out ear pro. Wish I would have built it earlier, I’m really enjoying this little pistol.

Well yeah, there's always the human factor. If I'm not doing my part the groups still suck, lol. But practice makes perfect...well, not perfect, but better.

Just bought a Griffin Minimalist taper mount muzzle break from a local gun forum member, I said I wasn't gonna buy anything else gun related for a while but it was cheaper than from Griffin and it was NIB, also my Optimus should be approved pretty soon and I need a mount for my SBR.

This little sumbitch for the nightstand gun:

    https://www.amazon.com/Bundle-valky...8-1-spons&keywords=olight+valkyrie+mini&psc=1

So much smaller than the TLR-1 it is replacing and rechargeable without having to be removed from the weapon which is a bonus. 400 lumens and a "flood" beam that is much better for home defense IMO since it spreads light out further. Probably wont be as good for long distance lighting since the light beam isn't focused.

Post up a review when you get it and use it, I hadn't heard of Olight until a little while back and my cousin told me about them.

Already have it and use it. That's my review above. I also have the SR1 Baton as a tiny back up to my EDC (streamlight PT2L):

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LAWAAE...UP&pd_rd_r=CDWQFC7ZXQS82RD7GSVB&pd_rd_w=TpPHz

What sold me was the rechargeable batteries, ease of recharge (magnetic base) and rate (less than 1 hour for full charge). The Valkyrie has a proprietary base (reverse polarity of the magnets) so the base for all their other products doesn't work on it but it works on everything else. The Valkyrie has to use it's own base.

Definitely not as bright as an X300 or TLR1HL, but pretty close for being so compact so the tradeoff is worth it. As a bonus the entire light sits behind the muzzle on a full size M&P, G17 and G23 so no more burnt housings.
Not to mention CR123 batteries get expensive...

Interesting... How long have you had this thing?

Awfully cheap for a pistol light.

Not long. Month maybe (means I cheated to post here since technically I didn’t buy it in the last 48 hours). Haven’t carried yet as I’m still waiting for a light specific IWB holster. Feels pretty solid and the switch has a sturdy feel when you engage. Might hestitate to carry on my duty weapon because it just seems too “pretty” and not sure how it’d hold up to getting knocked around.
