Yeah I figured I would be able to smell them, plus I checked to see if the rear wheels would spin freely, and they do, so I think I have to rule that out. It really feels like the throttle response is the issue, but I don't know how that relates to the 18mpg that I'm getting now (normally I average 20.5 mpg).

Looks sick! How easy was it to take off the oem decals? Did it require a hair dryer, or did it just peel off, and some goo gone would be okay?

Maybe disconnect the negative battery cable for about 1/2 hour, it might help.

It was cold the day I peeled mine so I used a hairdryer just to be safe. The adhesive was pretty sticky so I didn't want to risk potential damage to the clear coat. I also removed the pillar vinyl and all 4 pieces only took about 10 minutes. Then cleaned it up with a little goo gone.

They do just peel off but will leave a lot of residue behind. So, I switched to a heat gun before peeling and that really helped 90% of the adhesive to come off with the decal. The rest was easily removed with GooGone. The portion I peeled without heating though took much longer with GooGone. IPH wipe down after, applied the new decals, and finito.

Dealer said they checked fluids and transmission. Not entirely sure what process ymtheybused to check, but I disconnected my negative battery terminal like two other guys suggested and it seems to have worked but I still need to take it on a real test drive either tonight or tomorrow to be sure.

This guy on ebay has what you need. There are other sellers on ebay too if you're looking for something a little more unique. The only thing to keep in mind with all of these after market vinyl decals is they are not one solid rectangular piece like the OEM ones. They are individual pieces with a lot more sharp corners and areas to snag on wash mitts, microfiber towels, and to collect non-clear wax/sealant you might be applying.

Thanks for the info and photos! Asked my family members, and unanimously, everyone said the black looked best. Ordered a set of off-road for myself.
