Just got mine installed, fits well, but doesn’t follow the body line on the back (near the cab) of the hood exactly.

This is my poor mans hoodscoop

Definitely a camera setting. Look how big the grill and front end looks to the width of the roof. Almost like it's exaggerated perspective.

I've had the same troubles taking pictures of my hood. From straight ahead the decal looks like it has straight sides...maybe it has to do with the short focal length of a cell phone camera.

@mcmnos4r2 vinyl was so easy to apply with the soapy solution instructions. A few small bubbles of soap remain hopefully they will dry out? Also how do we clean these? Can we wax over them or do we apply protectant etc?...

If heard u can wax it, but... If u aren’t careful over time a thin white residue can build up on the edges. So u just gotta get as much wax residue off as u can. Looks nice man!

I used this stuff on a small corner first and then the rest of it, I thought it worked good to clean it.EEF54077-7712-4D8C-A295-2AF93195DB60.jpg

Has anyone pressure washed their hood decal yet? I pressure wash my truck but thinking it may create pits/tears in the decal.

Nevermind just pressure washed it with a 2600psi and its fine

How could you guys make the decal laying straight and flat on the hood without any pubbles? Mine messed up and had a lot wrinkles:(. I’m thinking i should spray water first and apply the decal but not sure it gonna work that way.

Put 2 drops baby shampoo in a bottle and fill with water. Spray back of vinyl and hood then apply. I used a 5” plastic drywall knife to then squeegee all the wrikles out before removing final backing. All remaining bubbles from remaining water dried out after a day and looks perfect

I went with the wide large version, but weather here has been ridiculous. Will post pictures after the install when I'm finally able to do it. :rain:

Also, I purchased this "Rapid TAC" solution from Amazon after reading a bunch of comments from guys on here, along with the reviews from the product itself. Looks like it helps not only to clean the hood, but also to be able to re position due to the large size.
