Did you get your warranty work done at Eastside Toyota yet? I haven't heard anything bad about them... yet

East Madison has been awesome for me. They are currently doing some non warranty work for me and gave me a loaner anyway.

Not a fan whatsoever of East Madison. They lucked out having the setup I wanted. Negotiating process was non existent even on my trade and I had a crappy visit to the service department. I swung by the Plover dealer for my 5k service while stopping in WI Crapids to order my new topper. Glad I did, less headache and (obviously) less busy.

No, they are not going to negotiate if they know they have the vehicle you WANT. You did buy it in the end.

Thanks! And you’re exactly right! Haha. They had to drive it from somewhere a couple hundred miles out to get it in for me to look at so I was happy with that. They just happened to be the first place I went to. They definitely gave me the vibe of “you need us more than we need you.” Which is true.. but still! The fact that I did all my wheelin and dealin with an “internet salesman” probably didn’t help matters. Not a people person.

I’ll be moving to Wisconsin after I get out of the Navy. Are there a lot of trails that are truck friendly?

Not a lot of public trails. There's plenty of forest roads up north that are pretty cool to run

Look up The TWAT (Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail).

I would agree on forest roads and the TWAT. If you look up the TWAT it was originally and route for adventure motorcycles, so most of the info you get is for a motorcycle trip.

Do you know where you are moving to yet? Chequamegon has a lot of great fire roads and dispersed camping is allowed. Here's a link to the motor vehicle use maps https://www.fs.usda.gov/main/cnnf/maps-pubs

Wanted to try last year but weather was not permitting. FYI we are parked on Indy Pass road in this picture. Two lanes.

In northern Minnesota there is the Iron Range off road area. Never been there, but if you like rocks it's a good place, from what I've heard. Bring spare tires.

Oh there will be some mods all right
I don't know if anyone would be interested or not, but I have a pair of front struts I just took off after installing the pro kit. They're just regular sr5 shocks/springs. I'm assuming they're originals from the factory so they have like 65000 miles on them. If no one wants them I'll probably end up tossing them. I live in Northern Wisconsin but don't mind going for a ride if someone really wants them.
