Texas Tacomas Meet, May 28-30

I might wind up missing this meet now, dammit I really wanted to go too, but got too many things going on right now that are making it difficult

 

i'm camping saturday night. bringing a two person tent....

 

Cool deal man...I'll know for sure in about 2weeks, Im supposed to hired on @ the plant in a few weeks so that will be more $$.

Oh when I drink, I can sleep though a tornado. I woke up the next morning went to go pee, Looked in the mirror, Did a double take and lmao.

I am definatlly going too, but now that Sam & Bianca talked my wife into coming & bringing the kids, it doesn't look like I am going to be having near as much fun

 

Brandy plans to bring our kids, wich means we will be chasing them in circles the whole time.

Maybe we can leave all the kids at the camper and.. um... do they need an adult to watch them? really?

 

Lol, yes they definatlly need an adult at all times. I wish I had a back seat & some seta belts in the 4runner so I could take them on a trail but no such luck. I could try & get a seat but they run about $150-$200 & I will still need seat belts. I also have to get my idler arm replaced, the locker, and try to adjust / repair the trans shifter & linkage, possiblly replace the trans/ crossmember mount & def. change the trans filter before the meet. I just don't think that the budget is going to allow all of that in the next 3 weeks. I might not even bring the 4runner at all.

 

No way, they are 2 & 4 years old, WAAAYY to young to leave alone.

 

Even under the watchful eyes of Barney? That dude is responsible as hell.

Heard the obsticals are spread out & freindly for pre-runners to just cruise around & watch other people tear up there trucks anyways. Will probablly go that route, maybe ride with Keith & spot some if he will let me.

 

AH MAN, NO cream puff? NO fun! Sounds like I won't have my sliders by the end of the month after all so..........

 

So what? I took my truck out there with zero lift and still had a damn good time. Would have gotten away damage free if I'd had a spotter.
