Hey guys here are some photos from my easy to install, Tacoma inlay from Eyecatcher on Amazon.

Let me know what you think!
Badge blackout is next of course.

Quicksand absolutely loves black! Any chrome on QS looks...wrong. Keep blacking out!

Thinking of those for my Cavalry blue.

So I was going to go lazy and cheap with plasti dip, however after overspray cleaning for 2 hours and finally tearing off the plasti dip from the letters, I’ve decided I’m going to take them off and do matte black duplicolor. Then re adhesive them back in place.

Definitely think blacking out as much as you can is the way to go.

I went with plasti dip for both grill and badges. To prevent as much overspray as possible I just taped off the area around badges with some painters tape and newspaper ads. 3928337C-96CA-44E4-87E5-388C1649546D.jpg00DA6F84-C3F9-4E04-A694-4E1B05308DAF.jpg9BE08873-7D59-44FD-86FE-B09B2B97B986.jpg506A4F07-4415-4A34-AF97-07E66E7061ED.jpg

You must not have covered the area around good enough and sprayed heavy enough. I tapes a small box around the letters and it all peeled perfectly. After 6 months of pressure washes the plasti dip is still as new.

I was definitely lazy with it.
I took them off and sprayed them with actual spray paint since I had em off already.

Maybe go get some auto 3M adhesive for it?
Double sided tape sticks out too far I believe
