4 for week nights 6 weekends

 

My two premiums (nights/weekends) get real close to that

I'm betting 4% for one, 6% for the other.

Our premiums break down similarly, except ours is 5% for the half-weekend, 20% for nights.

EDIT: Even though I'm actually working both Saturday and a partial Sunday.

 

I’m betting $4/hr nights and $6/hr weekend.

 

I felt that pain too. Ours was like $0.65, so the entire weekend was like $20+. Told my boss at the time "you wanna trade"? Now it's definitely worth my while.

It’s relaxing and definitely helps clear the mind, I wouldn’t say it works every time but it helps to not have to use outside substances. My go-to for a long while was the 1812 overture, i’d be passed out before the 15 minute song ended.

 

Looks like alot of the new hires (under 5 yrs) are taking vres. It's a voluntary buyout.
12 weeks of pay and a swift kick. Vs those that will be laid off with 4 weeks pay and 1 yr insurance.

Looking to eliminate atleast 200 in the next 30 days. Most of that will come from attrition. Then possibly another 400-600 by Sept.

Gonna be a wild ride for the next couple months.


Meanwhile....ive been here for 2 hrs and waiting on a part that's supposed to have came in already....but...not here.

Looks like much of the same, before I went on vacay.

 

Yeah, our Union sucks. They group is in with clerical because they don’t quite know how to classify the position. (Dispatch/analyst) We’re the only 24/7 operation in the court system and only about 50 of us so the powers that be don’t understand the toll the shift takes on health/family/life etc.
They JUST negotiated terms to get paid money for overtime (versus pto) and it took til 2/23 to get paid for a shift worked 1/3.

 

2 of 5, patiently awaiting the 3AM call telling me it’s go time. Knowing this lil guy’s temperament so far, he’ll wait til I’m done with my shift keeping me awake for a day and a half.

 

Clocked out at 11pm. Glad I can still hang out with my old crew for a few hours till I wind down.
Currently down the youtube rabbit hole. Not sure how this 3rd shift to 2nd shift is gonna work out, just thankfull I still have a job.

 

I was happy enough to pick up this EVH striped series when I was in indiana 2 weeks ago visiting family.

Absolutely the worst shift for me!

Get home, tell myself to have 1 drink, turns into 5. Sleep late the next day and get nothing done. Wash, rinse and repeat.
