Whats the best way to put a cheek riser on a bilt action? Synthetic stock, just too low.

 

Does it need to be adjustable? If not, probably some foam and duct tape. If you watch the ITS Tactical gear tasting from a year or two ago after Bryan did his precision rifle class, he discussed how they made their own risers that were customized to each shooter.

My wife had PRK and she has to have reading glasses now and still has a regular eye glass prescription, not near as bad as it was but still not a cure all.

Tx has occasional snow, seen it several times when I've been there and I don't even live there, ended up driving across Texas during one of the big ice storm they had several years ago.

Does anyone know the value of a Colt Targetsman? All my research puts them anywhere from $400-800.

 

Too hot during the summer, no snow during the winter, hurricanes in the fall, tornadoes in the spring, too many 10 gallon hats on 1/2 gallon heads, too much religion (for me personally) and flat flat flat.

Meh to each their own I am from Pennsylvania and will never go back for the shear fact of the cold. Texas is flat in most spots but there are other places that have hills and other terrain. When I came to Texas I always thought people were Stetsons and were religious buffs. Turns out only time you were Stetsons is when youre going out somewhere fancy or the bar and the religion piece is more a choice than the crazies putting it down your throat like everyone thinks.
