1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.
I’ve aired my front end out more then A few times the rear has a hard time because of the amount of drop I have. It’s not bad really

My icons are 13 650s and I have them set at 0. I just have the 4" from the maxtracs. It rides caddy like.
It's hard to say how much lift you will get depending on weight up front. The kings are a bitch to adjust on the truck, Especially with a resi. Get the 650s put 3-4 turns on the driver side for the lean and leave the passenger side at 0. Call it a day:thumbsup:

Do you get an Sag or doing any pre load in the springs , I was thinking of 14 500" lb.. or 13" 600, I wasn' to obtain 4.5 max height but I need a great off road ride

hello everyone... I have a question. I recently paid off my truck now Im debating on either trading it in or fixing it up finally. I want to take it up the mountains/snow but not too sure of the capability of a 2wd truck in snow. How/what have you guys done to your truck to be able handle those types of terrain? So far I have spindles and 5100's all the way around, front set at 1.75 with dealers j66 in the back.

Honestly, I wish I could chime in with help but I have yet to deal with snow. For the most part if you are thinking of trading it in . . . Get a 4x4.

We don't get much snow in Mississippi but I will say my 4x4 works a lot better in mud then my prerunner did. Only way I know of to improve the capabilities of the prerunner is a locker and good tires. Good recovery equipment also helps a lot if you wheel alone which is ill advised.

Would the old man emu 2.75 leaf springs be a good complement for the spindles? I want to keep the truck relatively level TIA

Anyone know if I could use the stock 17" wheels with a 1.25" wheel spacer?

You absolutely can. Thats what I was running in this picture. 2" spacers in the rear to even it out.

It had Walker Evans 2.5 coilovers up front with the maxtracs set at about 8” of lift. Rear had all pro standard leaf springs and 3” blocks for about 7” of lift. The sport wheels with 1.25” spacers in the front and 2” in the rear. 35x12.50 General grabbers. You can click the picture in my signature to see the build page
