Is that the install instructions for the whole kit or just the brakelime spacer? Can't seem to open it on my phone at the moment.

Ok, i'm going to cross post this to see if i get any hits. I got the Pro setup sitting out back, like many of you, waiting to be installed.

Looking for some Pro owners that have a little weight up front and what their hub to fender measurements are, if they remember. My weight is 120ish Also what ride is like, etc... If you dont mind. I know Dave chimed in on an earlier post of mine. I'm trying to determine if i should look at swapping my Pro springs for some Baja or equivalent 650's.

What it looks like now, minus the Duratrac's

I received my Pro kit last week and am debating what to do with the rear end. It looks like I have a 2+1 leaf spring in the back. 70K miles. I'd like to maintain near stock rake and ride. I seldom tow, no cap, no loads beyond camping gear. I need to decide:
    - stock spring with HS 3 leaf AAL w/o OL?
    - General Spring HD leaf pack?
    - Other options, recommendations, threads to review?
I've read through the entirety of this thread and my primary concern is whether the 2+1 leaf pack is serviceable, or should I replace it?

I vote replace. I'm there with ya.

Either: Find some stock takeoffs on CL or like and add AAL or New pack (GS or similar). I see stock takeoffs a lot. Someone buys a new truck and immediately lifts it. I'm looking at getting some now for $75 off a 2017 or 18

I have OME 884s and Bilsteins, which are probably around the same lift height or slightly more than what it looks like these pro kits are giving in the front. I had around 70k miles on my 14 OR when i put it on. I went with HS 3 leaf, and removed the overload. Mine sits almost exactly level, slight rake. Probably would leave you sitting around factory rake I would think.

Thats one of the usual upsells.

I have a firestone around the corner and I only use them for oil changes (with a coupon). They aligned my wifes old Sentra every six months and never suggested new shocks and struts, thats when I knew they lived by "Set the toe and let it go". One of the parts guys at the Napa I go to used to be a firestone manager, he confirmed it for me.

They couldn't even put the cabin air filter back in correctly on my buddys scion or my truck. Thats kind of scary!

I had the Wheelers single 1.5 inch AAL installed a few days ago. At first, the ride was pretty stiff. It has gotten a little better as things settle in, but definitely not as smooth as it was before the AAL. I don't mind it to much, but the point of upgrading my suspension was for a better ride, not a worse one. If I could do it again, I would get the progressive 3 leaf pack. Scratch that, if I am being honest with myself, if I were to do it again, I would get a new leaf spring set, but it doesn't seem like you want to go that route.

One caveat - you will have some weight in the rear. That might make all of the difference. I am actually picking up a canopy today (hopefully) and will have it on the truck pretty much permanently. That is why I opted for the single leaf. I will report back to let you know if the ride quality improves.

    Fingers Crossed.

Should have time to put my General springs HD pack on the weekend and will report back. Won’t get the front installed till the following weekend. I’m glad I went with a new pack. I haven’t seen any install picks of guys using either aal with any rake. Some look close to level, but most are nose high. Also, an aal on saggy factory leafs will eventually sag more. Especially with Tacoma’s weak springs. I’m still not convinced that it really matters what stock pack you have. My 2+1 pack looked a lot better than most sets of tsb springs I’ve seen and I have a shell on full time and tow. Only reason I went with a new pack was my mileage(90,000) and did not want to be one centimeter nose high. Would like to keep factory rake. I’ll post some pics this weekend with springs installed.

This is what it looks like with Dakar EL095R (new, medium, all leafs in place) leaf springs.

@Taco47 has first dibs if I decide to trade kits.
But yea I don't intend to get an upgrades for the front.
I just have the KB Voodoo Tailgate reinforcement in the back, which adds some weight.

Thanks! I'm sure I could have done it without these but now I don't have to hunt for all the torque specs.

I debated Dakar’s for a long time. Looks like a perfect match. How’s the ride?

A little worse than stock, but very far from what I would call annoying. I debated for weeks too vs AAL, but then it occurred to me I can sell my OEM-TSB leafs going with Dakar's and probably be into it within $100 of AAL and have an "all new" setup. With Dakar mediums (6 leaf), you can basically turn it into a Dakar heavy duty (7 leaf) by buying the additional spring. (I like this idea way more than a typical AAL)
