Supposedly the Mazda engine in these cars were downtuned not to be faster than the Mustang. (Same story with the Yamaha engine in the SHO). I guess they could easily be modified to be faster than the Mustang. I could see a stock-ish Probe in decent condition selling for this price to the right buyer. This car however, is just a Fast & Furious reject project.

After riding in this one in the mid '00s, in Austin Texas, I'm convinced this is where they belonged. Guy sold it, moved to Portland and died soon after. RIP Mark Hamilton.

Having an opinion is legal but someone out there will always make a big deal about it. IMHO

 

Greens in Australia have taken notice of tactics used by other self important and self righteous groups in the states and other countries. There currently is an initiative to lock up public lands to preserve them from the public. Right now they are “triggered” by property owners who are killing feral cats - an invasive species- to try to stop them from making indigenous species extinct. It’s said that they’ve already done immeasurable damage already.

 

He lives in a world of public opinion. He was VP and director for a club that hosted events such as weddings. Some people, dare I say many, find it repugnant to be killing animals for trophy, especially threatened or endangered species such as elephants. When the head cheese is bragging on the web about his exploits, legal or not, it tends to cause those people to not want to have their wedding at such an establishment. Thus, the basis for a boycott is born. Now we have a large and valid threat to the owner of said establishment's bottom line.

I can easily see this dude being resigned after the word got out and public opinion turned.

If you have hobbies that some find offensive, try not to be so overt about them.

 

But they do all kinds of stuff that I find offensive, and they are not at all discrete about it. Why do I have to change so they won't be offended, but they don't have to change to not offend me. Heck they also expect me except their offensive activities, and claim they shouldn't have to hide. I will live my life and they can live their life. I won't mess with them about all the offensive stuff they do, and I expect the same courtesy.
