Rubbing solved. Removed the front fender flares after work. Even when I tried to get them to rub with flexing on the snow bank in the yard at work, couldnt get em to contact the truck anymore.

 

Nice. Did you try lock to lock? I rub on the drivers side full lock to driver. Passenger side turned to passenger I can loft a rear wheel and I’m good.

 

Yep I destroyed the snow bank, almost got stuck in it.

Could not get any rub to happen.

I am going out later to get an ice cream cake for a buddy I do contract work for, he is hitting the big 50 tomorrow and I want to surprise him in his lunch room. So I will take the wife 'to get DQ' and subject her to many snow bank rammings to ensure its all good.

I think aluminum is best for wear. The cross bars made out of t-slot is great in terms of flexibility when tailoring the roof top to whatever you want. Other than that the rest is design and what you want it to look like. You have any ideas yet?

 

Integrated front and side flood single led bar lights.

 

Its going to be something that bolts together in a similar way to the prinsu rack, with 3 seperate frame pieces (Side rails, front wind guard and t-slots). Will be have side-mounted cut-outs for a 7" flush-mount lightbar. Trying to figure out right now if it makes sense to do a flush mount style or have seperate brackets on the back of the rack so that you can buy the 7" light bars to freely rotate.

Included a pic of what I was thinking of going with. A flush mount style light. Only issue with that is you cant rotate them down..

 

I was messing around with random ideas earlier, the original idea was to have integrated cut-outs for 3" pod lights, similar to the honey badger rack for the f150 raptor, but after messing around with it for a while, I realized it makes the rack look way too bulky and awkward. It would stick 5" above the roof, where the prinsu only sticks 2.5"-3" above the roof. So I abandoned that idea
