Yes, that's correct...it even mentions "checksum corrected" in the lastest directions or it was in one of Mat's posts, can't remember which...you are good to go...FLASH IT!

Cold start, idle RPMs will be higher than normal. The RPMs settle back down once cats are warmed up. Move the steering wheel and the idle RPMs go up. This is all normal....

I feel like this is the same thing when people complain about hearing a strange noise or car acting funny after a mechanic works on their car. Lmao.

“Mechanic changed out my air filter now my car feels like it has 4 square wheels”....

OVTune, you have a lot of patience man.

Trying to read the instructions on a cell phone while trying to flash the tune while on a lunch break working twelve hr shifts. Wanted to do this in daylight . Didn't see anything about the checksums on the directions I had looking at OVT website. None the less I think I got the ECU and TCU files loaded and letting it idle now.
Thanks for everyone's help as these things can be stressful under lunchtime time constraints...!!

Woohoo, I'm an 04A60 '18 guy. Now all that remains to be seen is if Matt will finalize the new flash manager before I leave work today. Would love to flash, then idle, then drive home.

Well this isn't a review but a quick 3 mile test run and it definitely feels smoother. Seems to be about the same power wise and kinda feels slower down low until about 4K. Definitely need more miles to get a better feel but excited to start getting time running this tune 1.03 and compare it to 1.02 A. Both loaded with the 91oct.

I seem to be getting worse MPG with 1.03 compared to stock but I've only put a quarter tank through it so far. I also don't care.

D is much better with holding gears, but still kinda races to 6th gear. I think that S mode feels the best, but the TC lock is going to make me pay to play with mpgs.

These are just minor gripes. I would love to see an ECO mode (reverse ECT). Maybe have 6th gear only available in this hypothetical mode.

I am really enjoying my drives now!

I’m now having visions of using the Turbo cool down timer on my remote start fob. Lol
Once a useless lonely button. Just another thing brought to life by Mat.

After one week I love this tune. I reflashed today and let it idle for 15 minutes since I didn't do that the first time to see if that helps the throttle sensitivity. Not even a gripe and This is the best tune/power and driveability to date.

I like how it drives on the highway much better now in D. The S mode lock is what I love the most so no more minor down shifting going over an over pass. S mode and ect is way fun!

    Thanks Mat @OVTune! Great work!

EDIT: It ended up working after I tried 15 times.

So my truck won't turn on now.... Like the starter kicks for 20 seconds and nothing happens???
