That’s totally suspect. Did you get these from a dealer or 3rd party/eBay? This is what mine looked like....

:notsure: Looks right to me. Maybe a coil and a half less than your 16” springs?

thanks. given that it is likely to settle more, I'll install an extra leaf. I'm driving through Grants Pass OR in 2 weeks, so will drop in and pick them up.

So I ordered a set of TRD Pro and they just called me back and said it was actually the Baja kit but would still do them for 150 shipped. Not planning on getting front armour. You guys think it will be to stiff in the front? Will it still be around a 2 inch lift?

Oh, another shitty response. If it were me in your shoes, I'd just let him/her take them back at his/her expense at this point. The lack of answers, customer service, and used car salesman "you're getting a deal" attitude seals the deal for me.

Be like riding a straight axled log wagon when you hit a bump, be sure and wear seat belts so your head doesnt bounce of the truck roof when you go over a bump also.

If thats true then these springs come preloaded from the factory by over 3"? That smells fishy. I'm guessing this is a 12" spring.

There is a guy on here,I think crashandburn or something to the sort is his screen name, that prefers the ride of the Baja springs over the pros. Pretty sure he doesn’t have any armor or front aftermarket bumper. I would send him a message. He has been very helpful with advice for me and I’m sure will give you his personal experience. He is very detailed in his information.

Yeah, just got off the phone with them and they said they mixed it up but would still send Baja kits for $550 shipped so still an upgrade. Can't complain at that price.

So, I got the same kit from the same seller. At this point, they're genuine Bilstein parts... I'm not going to complain. I still got a killer deal on a full kit, so I'll run it till it's gone.

Do they seem legit? I’m getting a little sketched out by this.

They'er legit. Bilstein has been making suspension components for toyota for years and they are of very high quality. It would be more difficult than its worth to try and reproduce Bilstein's TRD-marked parts.

These are either really good fakes, or genuine Bilstein parts. I'm going to believe that they're genuine Bilstein parts because they're stickered and stamped and shit. All of the mounting hardware came in sealed bags, and it all looks to be strikingly similar to the stuff that I got with my 5100s.

Then those are some god damn good refurbs. Mine look 100% brand new. No scuffs, scrapes, or other markings. The boots are new, studs are new, everything is perfect
