Most likely. It's a 32.6" tire and not overly wide. Can't imagine you running into much if any trouble with that size.

Aha ok this is what I've been looking for. Seems like you're pretty knowledgeable about wheels. So I'm looking at 17x8.5 unfortunately I've been looking at methods but their sizes are ridiculous and there's no way a 4.75 bs wheel wrapped in 315s is gonna clear my spindle gussets. Let alone the uca. So looking at scs they've got the same size but in a 4.30 bs is that even doable? I'm moving away from 16" wheels otherwise I'd be able to answer my own questions I'm assuming the 1" extra on the 17" wheel will mean the inside lip of the wheel won't contact the spindle gusset at it's wide point?

 

Great question. I've been searching high and low for basically the same information myself haha. I do believe 4.3" BS will clear. I have a buddy running 4.3" BS Ray 10s and 315/75-16 tires, don't think he's using spacers either. You could opt for 4.75" or 4.5" BS wheels and run .75" spacers which is more than likely how I'll end up doing it because there's more wheel options.

Everything I can find either doesn't go into detail on the backspacing used, or they're running 1.25" spacers, or the 3.5" BS F5 wheels

I want to be as narrow as possible with juuuuust enough room to air down and clear the spindles/UCA.

 

Ya spacers aren't an option for me I wheel to hard and wrecked my wheel studs last time and it get old retorquing spacers every time I look at the truck. I'm in the exact same boat no one goes into detail about their suspension setups or at least they don't when it comes to wheel fitment. Currently my 16x8 4.25 bs procomp series 97 steelies barely fit and i mean barely. Although I can air down sub 10 psi and not rub the gusset. And before anyone runs off and tries to buy these they changed the design mine are old and the new ones don't clear 2g taco calipers.

I actually just saw the ray 10 in gold on a black truck and had a "she will be mine" moment

 

The traditional "bolt on" spacers may not work for you. I bet BORA could make a bolt through design, run longer ARP studs which are stronger than stock. Heavy duty studs and no need to re torque. Just a thought.

Might also look at the Koenig Countersteer Type X. It's a 17x8 with 4.1" backspacing.

 

Bora does have a set i have a friend that did this to make his wheels work with his long travel setup. It's an option but I'd still rather just have bolt on no dicking around I posed the question to vin from scs as well. We shall see. Also the type x to me looks like a not as good version of the f5 lol

If you're open to cutting, sure! That's 33.2" which would be pushing it without rubbing. I've never seen anyone use that size, but I also don't see a lot of people running 18" wheels. It's more of a gamble, but people can trim for 35" tires on 2-3" lift.

You also need to take into account the wheel choice. The wider and the lower offset wheels will cause you to rub more than a narrower and higher offset wheel.

 

What do you think is more important than having a slightly wider tire in 275 and a 65 sidewall, or staying 265 and going up to a 70 sidewall?

 

The 275/65 may have a tougher appearance being wider, but the 265/70 will be .6" taller. It's a small difference between the two. You'd have .3" more ground clearance going with the 265.

If I were in your shoes I'd go 265/70r18.

That and less chance of rubbing with the narrower tire.

 

35’s on 3” lift with just a CMC and no trimming. No rubbing. Fender liner removed.

I was thinking the bilsteins 5100 in the front and a aal in the rear. You recommend anything or anything else I may need?

 

You might need a lean spacer for the drivers side, but nope, can't think of anything else. If you run into any trouble getting aligned you'll want to invest in some UCAs.

Probably would have been better if I had found it before I bought tires on Friday.

My question is... Did I get away with something or am I asking for trouble? I just got my 2013 TRD sport a couple weeks back (stock suspension after market wheels not sure on the offset but it's not much) and Discount Tire helped me talk myself into 275/70r17 BFG KO2's. I removed all the mud flaps and have no rubbing! So I'm good to go right?

My guess is that I'm in for a world of hurt (or rub) once I get off road and start getting some flex.
Any thoughts, opinions or suggestions would be great.

You might. If you do have to trim it isn't tough, and not noticeable unless you get your head into the wheel well.

If you pull into a driveway with some speed do you rub? That's a pretty easy way to get an idea. If you rub during that you'll for sure rub Off Road. If not, you may just get away without it!
