2016 OVTune Tacoma 3.5L Manual Transmission / Engine ECU Reflash

the new flash manager will fix this, it's almost done and will have the updated throttle files

 

I know when I download the original and open with notepad ++ I get this ( first pic ) and then when I download new files and open with notepad++ I get this ,,, second pic,, so that tells me new files are unable to download for some reason,,, waiting for new version ,,

I was told via email that the update should address the stuttering.

okay everyone new flash manager is released, Version 1.06C,

available on first page of the Alpha thread, and here:

all MT tunes 2016-2018 available, which also had updated VVT and Throttle update (1.03C release).
release 1.03C has a nicer throttle map for people who did not like 1.03B, and modification to valve timing as well.

can you please comment on the other changes since 1.03B... the VVT and valve timing... just a smoother transition, or something else we'd like to know about?

modified low load VVT exhaust
modified low load VVT intake
modified throttle target map

Awesome. Just downloaded and flashed the 87 octane version, but I won't be driving the truck until I head to work tomorrow morning.

My stumble had returned with a vengeance after disappearing for a few days. I have no idea why it's hit and miss with my truck.
Looking forward to testing the C tune tomorrow.

1.03C first impression - feels more refined, smooth. Made shifting even easier if that makes any sense. The power is definitely still there, it just seems to come on in a more civilized manner with my inputs. I've been burnt by making statements early in the review process before, so all I'll say definitively is - NO LIMP MODE @Ares32 !
