OK. I am also on stock UCAs but went with the .75 spacers. Wondering if I just should have got the 1.25" Spider Trax. Would've been cheaper and quicker.

This is where I'm not exactly following "The bigger tires do move the suspension components around". Alignments are adjusted based off the position of the wheel, not the tire, correct? So how would changing the tire cause the alignment to be that out of whack? I'm not saying you're wrong, just trying to visualize the mechanics involved.

I'll get an alignment and the proof will be in the pudding. I don't believe it's going to fix anything. I'm ready to get out the dremel is sort this thing out. CMC after if it annoys me out on the trail.

Since you're adding another inch or so of sidewall per side, the wheel would shift upward about an inch. I'm just brainstorming, I don't know that much about alignments.

Changing tires and/or wheels will affect the alignment, but it will be minimal.
Toe settings will remain the same, but the steering axis of inclination (SAI) does have a small impact on camber and caster.
Its splitting hairs, but it’s best to get an alignment done with the wheels and tires you’ll be running.

Hey Guys, went romping around the neighborhood and let the tires mark where they are rubbing. Looks like its mostly the fender flare bottom piece but no the fender liner. Also, it looks like a half inch of the cab mount is getting rubbed.

Correct, I posted the setup a few pages ago. I have Icon 2.5's up front with resi. JBA high Caster UCAs. with a net 2.1" lift. I have G2 1.25" spacers installed.

New game plan, going to trim the plastic with a Dremel. As for the cab mount, If its really still rubs after I'll do a CMC. Just need to find a local place to do it that doesn't charge 400 (4wheel parts and Rebel Offroad). I'll let you guys know how it works out.

Nice, send pics when you trim the fender flares. I'm going to do the same.

I have a 2.75 inch lift. Caster at 3.5 Cooper st maxx. I have no noticed any rubbing on or off road. I have about the same measurement tire to fender flare, but not running a wheel spacer. I think the spacers be causing the rubbing. I have icon uca.20171204_135003.jpg 20171204_135046.jpg

I am running 25/85/16 Cooper ST's (Not the Maxx) with stock offroad rims. When my suspension was totally stock I had no rubbing at all. I now have the trd pro suspension kit ptr13-35150 installed which gave me a just under 2" lift now after settling and still have no rubbing. I am using the stock UCA's.

That's the same suspension setup I have. Glad to hear you aren't having issues with rubbing. May put the tires on now before my spacers arrive.

I only asked because I have heard that the Cooper ST's are a little narrower than than Maxx version even though they both are 255/85/16's.

Not a lot of info on the DCs so I'm hoping I don't have problems. One of the main reasons I went with them is due to their low weight (50 lbs). Which are you going with?

This is the most I had to do. I still get rubbing on the cab mount driver side when I hit dips and turn at the same time. After trimming the plastic, I couldn't get the passenger side to rub doing all sorts of weird crap. good luck Ivanza!

I think the major thing here is that I got the JBA UCA's which are different from stock and other companies. It sits different and on their website it says minimum 4.5 BS for any tire sizes larger than 32".

That is why I went with the Cooper ST's as they weighed 47lbs when I weighed them on a scale before having them mounted.
