    THIS BITCH CAN TOW!

Better than it could stock. It’s no one ton by any means.

I moved a jeep across town for a buddy. Let’s just say I was under the max payload by 1 or 2 pounds. I also just put 265 on the truck today also.

    103 tune 87 octane.

ECT on in S mode worked great. S4 on the highway at speed was good I had no problem maintaining speed on small hills. The truck accelerated like a vehicle hauling a load. Gear shifts were smooth. I didn’t like D mode in some light traffic, D worked great on open sections of road with no traffic in front of me light to light. I wouldn’t hesitate tow anything long distance on this tune.

I recommend weight distribution bars for anyone towing near the max capacity. A sway bar on the front would be good too. :D

Trans temps were good on the freeway, outside temps were in the low 60s. The highest temp I saw was 211 at the converter idleing at a light.

    Highway speed and temp.

    Freeway towing shot.

I got the tune loaded and went out for a run. I have no problem at all with the throttle response in 1st gear. Love it so far. More trying it out tomorrow. Thank you @OVTune

I figured people were exaggerating. They got used to the sluggish stock tune

Where's the beef in this thread tonight? Was really hoping for the '18 ECU/TCU to be available too.

Short of the nice towing report.... everyone's out burnin' up their tires I guess. Or pounding on the F5 key.

Yeah it is due to us having a power steering pump. Even on my stock truck it does it. Yay dongle just arrived, tomorrow will be fun.

Great to hear about the towing, everything looked good. Question for you on your OBD Fusion setup. Wheat is the name of the Gear selection displa o whwhere is it? I've got the Toyota add on, but the only gear status I've found works in 16 for each gear so I have to do fast math. Thanks for the report

It definitely is more sensitive than stock but it’s not bad. Before the pedal would be almost to the floor to get the truck to move. It actually makes the truck feel like it has balls now. I don’t have heavy tires either. DCSB 2WD on stock tires.

If you’re looking for a problem, you’re going to find one.

I believe the power of suggestion is also at play. It’s minimal and i didn’t notice it until I looked for it after reading it in a post. This is true about a lot of the truck’s quirks.
It’s also pretty common to notice imperfections after any change or work.

I like your add-on in the vehicle description. Great idea.

Big time agree! I love the pedal feel right now. The whole tune is awesome.

I've had that problem with the headrests since new, even on the factory OEM flash. Maybe Mat will address this in a future release?

I'm fairly sure I'm not imagining the overly abrupt first percent of throttle input. Can't explain how other stock tire guys aren't experiencing it, maybe you guys just like that jolt every time you touch the gas at a light lol

Have to say I was looking for the throttle sensitivity issue as it's been mentioned a lot but to my surprise it feels perfect. I'm all stock, tires included. Only have 20 miles on the tune so far but mileage seems to have decreased about a 1/2 mpg. Hopefully this changes after it settles in.
It feels much smoother then before all through the powerband. So far I like it a lot.
