Bad idea. With construction catching up to demand, price increases have slowed down but aren't going to go down anytime soon. You're right; prices will still continue to go up as we are basically bay area north now in terms of tech and housing prices. Places that were traditionally not that great areas are getting a lot more expensive (Oakland, Renton, etc).

The only way you could do well is if you leave WA. I had 2 coworkers sell their west seattle houses and move to the Raleigh area in NC and basically have a paid off house there with the equity they made here.

Lol, last 2 houses we were looking at in Issaquah and Redmond were much smaller than the one we're in right now and ended up selling 80-120k over listing price. :annoyed:

Yup! Was just out there Monday and it was fantastic. Not sure how the recent rain since then will effect it though.

I've came to the conclusion I can never afford a house here. I will be leaving at some point. Going to work in my current job for another 2-3 years probably, because I'm a realist, then dip out somewhere.

I still did quite a lot too. Didn't make around the whole loop due to time constraints so I guess I couldn't say about the end. One rock garden hill climb I opted to pass until I get some skids but it was still a lot of fun
