@JKO1998 - I think you got everything answered, but here's a couple pics (similar to yours) just in case.

Here's what you want to remove (note: don't remove that tensioner nut completely):

Here's what mine (and @Digiratus) looked like, along with my new one, when ours went bad together! hahahaha

    Thank you, that’s helpful.

That’s cute that both of yours went out together and got changed together.

How much was the new pulley/wheel thing and where’d you get it? OEM?

The new one was ~$30 (little more/little less depending on the auto parts store). We ended up getting one at AutoZone and one at O'Reilly. Keep your OEM pulley and you can press (out the old) and in a new bearing. This one is the one that fits. Then you have a nice trail repair AC tensioner for the future that only cost the price of the bearing.

    K one more question.

Is When tightening the bearing down, not the tensioner do I need to torque it down to a specific spec or just good n tight.

Technically, here's the FSM. 29 ft-lbs. So I'd say Zane's "tight" is good.

You know I find it funny that they list a spec for the belt tension, I finally have a tension scale and it is absolutely pointless for any of the belts on the truck. I got it for the harley drive belt, and it really isn't even that good for that.

What have I done on the truck? Nothing recently, maybe the plastic-bag-shoved-under-the-driver's-vent-because-it-rattles-like-hell-since-I-didn't-put-the-trim-back-yet MOD.

Made this pretty cool new signature to reflect the new addition to my Tacoma family. Shameless plug for my build threads. :anonymous:

Fixed the link, it's been a long day. Haha.

Sooo.... how hard is it to drift this thing? :D

I would feel slightly bad because the tires are brand new.

Drifting might be a bit advanced if you haven't learned to drive stick. But a burnout, that's easy.... Now if you found a huge empty parking lot learning to drift might be possible, gotta clutch kick a lot though I'd guess

Once I get the interior back together and figure out why my climate system isn't working at all I'll learn how to drive it. I couldn't stand sitting in that thing for 30 seconds in the state it was in.

I checked the climate connectors, nothing seems out of the ordinary. The vent selector and temperature knobs are both jammed and the blower motor doesn't turn on.

The blower switch itself can fail, try opening yours to look for blackened contacts

Ahh clutch kicks... brings back memories of drifting in the high school parking lot in my buddies 91' Isuzu pickup. Sometimes I miss driving stick, can't have as much fun in an auto

I would buy another control panel, but I couldn't figure out where the cable driven channels went or how to remove it. I'll have to check it later.

Gotta replace the fuel sender too, I bought a new one from P&P. Gas gauge is still inop.

The cable driven stuff is way easier to hook up than it looks, chances are the heater box is jammed, the one that came with my grey truck was. The cables and dials themselves are fairly fail safe.

How can I fix that or inspect it? Both the vent selector and blend door knobs are jammed fairly badly. Only thing that works is the outside/inside air selector and the AC button, although it lights up I don't hear the compressor kick on.

Well since you have basically everything else out, if you unbolt all the hvac stuff and the bar that goes across the cab you can pull it out and inspect it. Good chance to clean the dead bugs and leaves out
