For those who already installed the Pro kit PTR13-35150...

I am No mechanic just getting more info since my 17 OR 4x4 tacoma has only 1,700 miles... would like to know more before I install my pro kit...

Have you guys install the differential drop spacers? Will the differential spacer prevent the needle bearing being / ECGS worn out ?
Since the pro kit will lift the truck 1.75"-2" and diff drop is 1" (not 100% sure) the front axle's flex is only .75"-1" right???

Aren't the 16+ Taco PROs' 1" fox suspension are much higher than ORs or Sports 4x4?
Yet PROs don't have diff spacers.

Will you only get the ECGS/needle bearing problem when you lift your truck 2" and up?

Mine is arriving Friday. No Diff Drop Spacers. Needle Bearing is covered under warranty if it goes out lift or not. Everyone has mixed opinions but ultimately a lift possibly just makes a bad needle bearing more noticeable. Yes the PRO is taller because it comes with a Fox Suspension setup already. Also figure out what you are going to do in the rear since a shock has nothing to do with lift.

I had bearing issues on my truck from the factory with no lift, Toyota did the TSB on my truck and replaced the needle bearing about a year ago...

I installed the pro kit on my 15 last Sunday, no vibes. Don’t do a diff drop, they’re just not necessary.

The new fox suspension probably lifts about the same as the pro kit. I could be wrong but I’m almost positive they both bet around 1.75-2”

What you are forgetting,is that the kits are Trademarked under Toyota,Bilstein cant build anymore that says Trd Pro on them,Bilstein already sells their 6112 and 5160 shocks.Thats why the kits were discounted.Bilstein sure is not going too sell their own items for $600 you can bet on that,as they wouldnt make any money.

I did not install any differential drop spacers. I asked my local tech who I trust and he said not to bother with it on this application.
I did end up with about 1.5" of lift on my Access Cab, not quite the 1.75" - 2" that some have reported.
I put the ECGS bushing in because I already had all my crap taken off and it was only $60.

Give it a month. There will be some takeoffs, for those that dont like. Already saw someone on here trying to flip their for a profit. They quickly deleted all pics and prices, locked the comments, and marked it sold.

On top of what the other guy had replied to you; The TRD springs/shocks were valved and tuned for tacoma. If you want that kind of thing done, you would have to find an off-road shop that specializes in suspension rebuilts and modifications which will cost you $$$.

I tried ordering through 5-6 similar listings and they were all cancelled in around an hr. I think with how quickly these vanished the websites are all behind on their info.

There is likely some local stock at various dealerships, but the supply chain is dry, no more are in toyotas warehouses, bilstein isn't making any more, and there are over 200 back ordered, from websites like you posted, who are waiting for stock from the Toyota warehouse that will never arrive.

You posted a link and said "buy now, get later" or something. Not true.

Wait for the inevitable takeoffs or scalpers trying to make a quick $100. You'll still make out nice...just not as nice :boink:

Based on conversations with parts managers, there are quite a few still in stock. Might have to get creative with shipping because most wont ship out of state, send it to a FedEx or UPS in the area and get them to forward it? or something along those lines.

Yeah I was debating doing that but TBH I was one of the ones that wasn't 100% sure if I wanted that much lift anyway. I kinda took all this as a sign and just put my name on a waiting list for some 6112's (assuming Bilstein ever catches up on production).

I was one of those people too but I pulled the trigger. Luckily I ended up +1.5" which is the top end of where I wanted to be with it. You will be just as happy with your 6112's!
