Nothing really but I’d just like to keep all my OEM stuff. Really pleased with the 5100s though. Is it a bad idea to take off the boot on the rear shocks?

Right on, actually not a bad idea to have spares for those "just in case" moments.

    What coils did you get?
I think it would be fine to take that boot off.

I've even seen guys trim them so its not all bunched up.

Only thing you would risk is damaging the shaft with a rock chip or something

Get to them quick, they probably threw them in the trash. The front mud flaps on my Tundra ended up there, back when it was still owned by the dealership. They ended up giving me a set off another conversion, and I could see why they tossed them; they don't fit with the Bushwacker flares.

I had the UCAs, front springs, and full set of shocks from my Taco, after I put the lift on. All stock, but with about 1K miles on them. After some Craigslist jackassery, I ended up tossing the springs and shocks, and selling the UCAs for not much more than the work was worth.

You have to really, really fuck something up with 12v to cause any serous damage.

Fuses and relays are your friend.
Use bigger wire than you should.
Wire loom everything to prevent damage.
