I am adding ome 887's up front and 5100's all the way around with deaver aal's in the rear along with tuff country uca's. Thinking that I am going to have to get a cmc done to run 285/70/17. 4.5 BS and -12 offset wheels. I dont have a welder and more than likely dont have the welding skills to pull it off anyway. Anyone in western NC know of a place/person that does this?

What part of NC? @EddyRRT at SOS Concepts is in Laurens, SC. Will be having a MOD day there tomorrow from 8-4. Shoot him a PM and see if he might can squeeze you in. He’s already got about 3 he’s doing.

If that’s too far join Queen City Off Road on FB. They may have some places more local that aren’t on TW.

I think Fab Fours may be out of the Charlotte area. Just check around and see. There’s plenty of people that can do it!

If you're handy, you can get an angle grinder from harbor freight for cheap, and cut it yourself. Then just bring the plates to a welder and have them burn them on for you. That's what I did with my first truck. There's no harm in driving around with a cut cab mount until you get plates welded on.

    Extreme Machines in Hickory, NC

I'm sure they can do it for you. I also highly recommend them once you get all that gear installed and need an alignment.

I'm running a OME heavy lift kit with 285/75r16 tires on 16x8 3.52" bs wheels. When I added SPC adjustable UCAs nobody knew how to align my truck. I took it to a Toyota dealership, Firestone and several mom & pop shops before I found Extreme Machines.

They spent 3 hours aligning my truck to get the specs exactly how I requested and the price was very reasonable.

    Do NOT go there OP.

Call Rides in Conover, NC they are good people...since I'm assuming you are around the Statesville area.

If not, then if you buy the plates I have a buddy who can do it for you for a reasonable price.

Also, come join the Charlotte thread, someone there may be able to help too.

For an alignment, I've heard really good reviews on Lacy's Alignment in Southend. Which is where I plan to go once I install my lift whenever it warms up.

Make sure you and the fabricator agree on what to chop off. I let a local shop do mine and they only cut back enough for no
wheel rub while daily driving. I should have stepped back in the shop and showed them where I wanted the cab mount to be chopped.
As soon as I saw it I was like shit the :facepalm:chop isn't as deep or angled like I wanted. Which means I'll be getting another one done in the
    near future. :goingcrazy:

Appreciate it fellas. Rides in Conover said they’d do it for 80 bucks. Sounds good to me!

They seem well made. I don’t do any major off-roading. Some rough pactches Hunting but nothing to crazy. Haven’t gotten them put on yet. But they seem pretty good for 249 bucks. Couldn’t justify spending more than that.

Car id. Got 20 percent off. Just to clarify they are not the Uni-Ball control arms.

Did you get the CMC done yet at Rides? How'd it turn out? They're just right down the road from me...
