    I think the main thing we need to know is what exactly you're looking to do with this newly acquired truck. Daily driving? What's your commute like? I know people have reported issues with a few 3rd gens but my personal experience has been nothing short of great. Almost 2.5 years with mine and 65k miles. No issues.
    While the 3rd gen is a bit more sluggish off the line, I honestly don't mind since I am usually stuck in traffic, and offroad it hasn't been an issue either. If I was doing fast desert trails then I'd definitely stick with a 2nd gen.
    3rd gen interior is definitely superior to 2nd gen, but 2nd gen has those clean straight bumper lines so no need to chop up a good bumper like you have to for most aftermarket bumpers on the 3rd gen.

    I think you're asking an important question that I completely missed.

    I am using it as an adventure vehicle/need to move shit vehicle. I am still going to keep my corolla as my DD. Its too reliable to trade in.
