Haha, yea small town. It really wasn't that hard, just found some slick little suction cups with a little t-bar to hold them on. I have them for all the windows on truck and canopy, makes a huge difference.

 

Still a bunch of stuff for sale. Someone buy some shit!

 

Yeah I've seen it. I need it to be cab height. Clearance issues otherwise at work. Parking garage is 6'9 and its only a couple of inches under. Thanks for keeping an eye out.

I just started looking for a canopy.
Is there a hierarchy of makers?
ARE, Leer and Snugtop seem to be the top ones that I have seen...how do they differ, and is one substantially better than the rest?

For Sale is the camper shell, and/or the RTT frame and custom baja rack on the top.
Its not on craigslist yet, but it will be. I would rather someone get from here first, as I usually hate dealing with craigslisters.
$1200 $600 for shell $600 for rack and assembly, I will include all the baja rack attachements, axe and shovel mount, hilift mount, awning mounts.

 

From my research A.R.E and Snugtop were the top contenders with best build quality and weight ratings. Overall I've been happy with my ARE, the side opening doors are awesome. Mine is for sale too, I'm moving into a GFC camper next month so making space and selling the canopy I have. In NE Portland area if you want to take a look at it.

Thanks, I was thinking about a canopy but would want the sliding windows for my dog, and of course, would have to repaint this one to either black or inferno.

Still thinking about a soft topper though...

 

You could always wrap it or, my friend painted his in his garage, turned out great.

Ended up ordering an ARE CX series canopy today. Added front tilt-down slider, pet screens, 12v LED dome light, and roof tracks. Out the door for $2105.00. Also got a carpet headliner for free with coupon.
