I think we have 200 amp service. Would need a new sub panel, bigger wire and a fuse for a tankless that would be suitable for the house.

I read that today as well.

Just remember that you still have to descale it atleast once a year.

I got one of the Rinnai tankless at lowes after my tank sprung a leak back in august.
Thankfully I got natural gas (very cheap too since im in the Marcellus Shale region) and was able to put it in myself. I love it and would probably never go back to a tank.

Doing great Doug. Away for the winter and you folks are having all sorts of high temps. Maybe I should go more often. Missus can't take the cold like she used to. Take care and hope winter doesn't rear it's ugly side before spring.

Yep they really make a lot more sense if you have propane or natural gas. We already had propane.

Well, the water heater is in, and no apparent leaks at this point. Also fixed the damn valve insert for the shower. It decided to break this morning as well. Can’t wait to see what breaks next.

So I think the dealerships trying to give me the run around. Took the dreadful two hour drive to scranton only because I knew the a.c. compressor was seized. (Get it fixed for free there because of warranty) even had my mechanic friend check it out he said its seized. The belts burning up since the pulleys not spinning. So they call me today and say they can't make the a.c. light flash on defrost. Which I made it happen before I got there. Then they said it's just low on fluids because they couldnt get cold air even though a month before hand had the lines redone because of a deer accident so I know it's good. Asked if they looked at the belt and they said they didn't which:frusty: you're right there why not check if I said I smelled the belt burning...

They called back and said after further diagnostic we have seen that the clutch is going on the a.c. compressor and it's over working it self we will fix it.

And yet new jersey just passed 6 more gun laws as if it wasn't hard enough to get a gun.
