My steering box seems to be warn out. After a couple adjustments it's either right and notchy or loose as a goose.. I've been thinking about replacing it and looking for something newer to replace it with. A RHD JK steering box may be what I end up with. Thanks to @davedanders for that idea

 

I'm of to see the wizard @EddyRRT, while riding in the long bed parade @ovrlndkull. Hopefully I don't need any of this except the gas can. Rolled it into the shop on fumes lol.

She just got a quick spray with the pressure washer, later this evening when the inferno in the sky calms down she'll get a nice bubble bath with the foam cannon, and then maybe enough of the dust/dirt will be washed away that I'll put a sponge on it.

Took out the old rat nest looking intake tube and replaced it with a nice silicone one from https://carrs4x4.com

 

Fixed my turn signal issue.. Apparently the dash incidator will flash once if there is a bulb blown or there's a short or open in the circuit but none of the outside lights will flash. Well the Hopkins trailer harness or the shitty splicing was shorting and blowing the turn signal fuse


Sidenote: There is a factory trailer harness that has a signal to a dash indicator that reminds you your towing.

Step 1: rip out the plastic thing that I don't have a hold down or lid for.
Step 2: cut the Shiney new box up to fit and operate correctly.
Step 3: make some spacers - pending
